West Bromwich
One of the six amalgamated towns in Sandwell, West Midlands, West Bromwich (/ˈbrɒmɪtʃ/ BROM-itch) is a market town that is large. From the 12th century, a Benedictine existed in West Bromwich around which the settlement of Broomwich Heath grew. Incorporating the village of Great Barr, West Bromwich became a borough in 1888.
